Can the shopping cart be skipped and the customer sent directly to checkout ?

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible from the Admin section to configure nopEcommerce so that when the customer presses the "Buy Now" button for a product, to be sent directly to checkout (skipping the shopping cart).

Also if this is not possible to be done from the Admin section then are there any issues if I was going to implement something like this by modifying the current ASP.Net code? I mean is the Shopping Cart mandatory in some way as part of the flow for the Checkout process?

I also think having an optional buy now button is a good idea. Were you able to successfully add it? If yes, can you share your code?
