Adding variation of an attribute to a product

We have created attributes and then we have added almost 25 variations in it. The thing is when we add a new product and add attributes we need to remove extra variations, i.e for a product we need 2 variations of an attribute and that attribute has 25 variations we need to remove 23 variations from the list of variations which is a time consuming process.
please suggest a solution for this.

You can consume time by adding two new attributes in products.
