Starting out - configuring options in admin

Hello

I am just looking at nop commerce with a view to using it for a client.
The amount of functionality is great, but for our client there is too much, they will just get lost or end up breaking something, so I am wondering how easy it is to remove some of bits in the admin, for example the blog, promotions and some items from the drop downs.
