The customer info page is restricting which fields are shown based on which fields are enabled/disabled in the administration tool for the registration section. There should be no link between the registration fields and customer info fields. For registration I want very few fields enabled and the exact opposite for the customer info screen. There should be a section under administration strictly for the customer info screen and a completely separate section for registration fields.
