Confirmation checkout

Why does nopCommerce need the Confirmation checkout step?
If the customer already paid in the "payment method" section, why is there the need for CONFIRMATION?
Customers get confused with this step and think they already finished the purchase.
Is there a way to bypass that step?

What version of nopCommerce ?
What payment method are you using ?

You can bypass that step but there is a bit involved
I have created a version of PayPal Commerce which operates like that.
The plugin automatically completes the order after payment
I will add it my store tomorrow and post the link

Do you bypass it through JS? or there's a bit of backend involved?

No not done with .js
Reorgainsed widgets plus changes to some views and added a new function to create the order
Also includes fix from v4.5

nopCommerce version: 4.5

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1- Select product
2- Go to shopping cart page
3- Sign on terms checkbox and click checkout button
4- Fill the billing address page
5- Click continue
6- It is return again to the cart page and do not going to step 2 (Shipping address)

on my development computer (Windows 10, Visual Studio 2022 17.3, MySQL 8.0.29) it works fine but on my website (mursoft.mx, debian 11, MySQL 8.0.29) it has the behavior pointed out in this post.

The product(s0 in the cart require shipping of course ?
You have Shipping Method options ?
Any error in the Log ?
