USPS Module - It doesn't fit!

Is there a fix for getting USPS options correct based on size and weight?

I have an item set at 20lbs, and 24 x 24 x 24 dimensions.

Some USPS Options I get:
USPS Express Mail® Flat Rate Envelope ($33.30)
USPS Priority Mail® Small Flat Rate Box ($20.20)

I don't want to disable this globally, as I do want to use it, for items that fit the weight / dimensions of the package.

FedEx works fine it seems:
FedEx Ground Home Delivery ($33.01)
FedEx Priority Overnight ($165.21)

Is there a fix for this?  I updated to 2.10 hoping it was fixed (the formatting is fixed though!).

So people just let their customers pick whatever USPS box they want for their items?   I'm confused...  this seems like major broken functionality.  As a work around I limited it to Parcel Post only, but I may want to use media mail, or flat rate, for items that fit...

I wonder if theres value in offering shipping methods per product..

Maybe I am doing something wrong?

I just created a new item, filled in weight and dimensions, but still get every shipping option available.
