nopCommerce 2.4 speed/performance concerns

Hi!

We now have to choose CMS for a very big ecommerce site.
We test NOPcommerce and Kentico.
So we see that in localhost Kentico runs faster then nopCommerce.I debbuged nopCommerce code and found out that nop uses cache as well. So what a reason that in localhost nop runs so slowly?

I tried to insert  [OutputCache(Duration = 3600, VaryByParam = "none")]    
to CatalogController  methods, but it does not give any improvments...
What do you suggest?
