Each customer only able to view certain products

Hello,

Is there a way to allow customers to be able to view and order specific products, I thought i could categorise the products by manufacture therefore each customer is only able to view that manufactures product list.

Has anyone else achieved this? Is it possible?

are you asking if you can limit

customer (a) to view only products 1,2,3

and customer (b) to view only products 4,5,6

etc?

I also have a use that is probably out of scope for nopcommerce.  I would like to have different companies sign up with me and be able to add only their own products.  Users could then decide which manufacturer to choose and any purchases would be attributed to the individual company rather than me.  Hope that makes some sense.  Paul
