Shipping Method Problems (version 2.8)

What I'm trying to do on my site is have 2 methods: a fixed shipping rate of free (In-Store Pickup), and a by-weight variable rate (USPS). What ends up displaying is:


USPS ($X.XX) (x's are the proper amount)
United States Postal Service
USPS ($0.00)
United States Postal Service
In-Store Pickup ($0.00)
Pick up your items at the store

I've uninstall, reinstalled, and reconfigured the Variable and Fixed shipping plugins a few times, but the error persists.

Found a way to resolve the issue on my own.

Decided to just completely uninstall the Fixed shipping plugin and remove the In Store method completely, then add a new method in variable rate with no fees attached.
