OrderTotal Discount Tax is being calculated on pre-discount amount Nop V 3.1

Hi There,

I'm running NOP. version 2.5

Prouduct  A has total price of $89 inc GST.
GST on A is $8.09

There is a discount set up $89 Discount on Order Total.

Shipping charge is $9.95 including GST(10%)

Once item is added to cart and coupon code applied, its shows $8.99 GST. This is incorrect.

It should show $0.90 GST  as Item A gets $89.00 discount.

For some reason it stores pre-discount GST.

Can someone please put me in the right direction how to fix this issue. Where is a code for calculating GST after discount?

  I've downloaded the latest version of nop 3.1 and tested the same scenario.

  The latest version also has this bug as well.

  Total GST is calculated based on pre-discount price.

  etnies Men's Digit Sneaker price = $100 inc Tax.  Tax is 10%

   When added to cart tax is $9.09 all good so far.

   As soon as I apply the coupon code 456 (Pre-configured discount of out the box. 20% off order total) it displays the following

   Sub-Total:  $100.00 incl tax
   Shipping:   $0.00 incl tax
   Tax:  $9.09
   Discount   :  -$20.00
   Total:   $80.00


   The Tax should be $7.28.

Any updates for the bug "Tax is being calculated on pre-discount amount" .Is the Issue fixed?

OK folks, when will this bug be fixed? It lasts since 2013 (!).
The system (3.90) is still calculating the wrong values for the tax! This is a MAJOR issue!
