How to enable Thumbnails View of pictures with only one product picture?

Hi, i have many products with one picture, when i want to click this picture there is no Thumbnail View which shows the picture in full size. In the demo products i have seen that every product which has more than one picture there where this  feature enabled. Where can i change the size to one, to show my pictures in full size?
