SEO friendly Language-URL

I know this has been discussed before but i haven't found any answer:

I have checked "SEO friendly URLs with multiple languages enabled" and it works perfect. But, as i only have one language enabled i want to disable this function. When i do so every URL seems ok, EXCEPT the index-page it keeps redirecting to URL/sv <-in my case

What could be wrong? I really need this change as i having problem with my Googleindexing

Try clearing the cache and restart application from the administration section.

Well that didnt work, i even tried to write something to global,asax just to force a complete restart.

BUT i found out that either my browsers(Firefox) cache or a cookie was set. So i flushed my browsercache an deleted ALL session and Domaincookies for my site, and then everything worked again.

Thanks for your time, obviously i should have tried this at first but it just didnt come to my mind!
