Mass Import of categories

If I mass import categories (via SQL backend) is there anyplace I need to put the information besides the category table?

Same question for manufacturer

Hi Patrick,

I hope you don't mind me asking but did you attempt importing categories into the NOPCommerce DB? Is it just the categories table that needs taking care of?

Did you manage to do this? I have been trying to import the data directtly into the DB for categories but it keeps failing. With error messages.
