Click to enlarge image functionality?

Hello all.  I have a buddy who really likes the layout of this tool, but he wants the ability to click on a product image and have a pop-up with an enlarged image of the product appear.  I'm more of a win forms developer, so I'm still ramping up.  Is this functionality tough to do?  Any examples would be greatly appreciated!
