Email already in use

User changed his email back to original, and got an error message "Email already in use". I tried  to delete the account and activate a new account using email validation, and now I can’t make an account using the email.


1. How can I remove the email and reuse it again?
2. Email validation will not send email for activation..

I'm using nopCommerce 1.7 and "downloaded 1.8 but not installed"

I appreciate your feedback, Thank you in advance...

1) You won't be able to create account with same e-mail address if it is linked with any user, if you tried deleting the user from admin section then also it will remain in the record. So in order to delete user permanently you have to delete the user from the database directly (Nop_Customers Table), once you delete user/customer from the database, you can re-use your e-mail address and you won't get the message "Email already in use".

2) For e-mail purpose first you have to setup your mailbox in mail settings:

Admin section > global settings > mail settings tab
