1.8 Hosting Requirements

Could someone confirm the that 1.8 requires .NET 4.0 hosting. I'm currently running with 123-Reg and they have no idea when they will be upgrading from .NET 3.5 to .NET 4.0 .

If .NET 4.0 hosting is required can anyone suggest a decent UK provider.
