help adding download music sample link to product pages for a record store site

Hi Gang,

Evaluating nop to replace existing eCommerce store front for our record store. We are looking to add a download music sample link to our product pages so customers can listen to music samples of our vinyl records before they buy.

Does anyone know if this is something easy to do?

yes, its very easy to achieve 'out of the box'

You could always put a link in the description like this: http://www.musicsample.com/mysample.mp3
or if you wanted to get fancy, you could create a custom control that could display the link based on whichever product is displayed. I could make that for you if you like...

Oh, I forgot... there's already a built in feature called download sample... :) I've never used it.

Thanks for the quick response. What I'd like to do is have the link fire a javascript popup player so the user can listen to the sample while browsing.
