favicon.ico in my wwwroot folder gets automatically replaced

Hi,

I've uploaded my custom favicons through the settings of my nopCommerce site, which reflected in changing them inside the icons subfolder. I noticed there is a favacion.ico file in my wwwroot which I replaced manually. After a week or so I noticed that somehow this particular file in wwwroot got reverted...

Does anyone know what is the reason for this bahavior and how to keep my own custom favacon.ico file in the wwwroot?

Did you remove and replace the default in this folder wwwroot\icons\icons_0?

Yes, and they stayed the same since I replaced them. Only the file in the wwwroot folder keeps changing bacck.

So if you delete it entirely and not replacing it. Will it be copied back on next refresh or later time. Try searching your entire site for all instances of favicon. See if it is possibly in a bin folder. Just some thoughts.
