configuring customer's registration to a limited time

Hi,
I need to add a time limit to my customers' registration time. This means I need to add a due date to the customer's subscription details (and after this date the customer will no longer be active)
Can this be done in an out-of-the-box manner, or does it require certain customizations to the code?
