Paypal advanced features

In order to have the advanced checkout features of Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit and debit cards, I need to configure my paypal business account for Paypal Expanded Checkout. If I do that on Paypal's side, do I need to reinstalled the Paypal plugin? How will the plugin refresh my new account settings?

No need to reinstall the plugin. After you activate the desired features on PayPal side, open the plugin configuration page and enable the appropriate settings. If some permissions are missing, you'll see warnings.
