How to create a product with 6 customer defined colors

I'm looking at implementing nopCommerce but I need the ability for a customer to select a product, and then select from 6 drop down lists of colors and specify the colors they would like for the product (they have to choose 6 total for the product to be complete).

Is this possible currently or is this a customization that needs to be implemented by myself?

Yes .. I believe it is called [ Specification Attributes ] in nopCommerce. I haven't used it yet .. but I'm sure it works. Check this product on the Demo site. As you can see, it has drop downs specific to that product. Which means Yes, you can have your own drop downs with your own set options.
