Where are we storing the actual content of the >> @T(xx)

I've found the defaultResources.public.nopres.xml file inside the AppData folder.
So I tried changing its value ...but still didn't really made a difference.

So any help will be much appreciated.

Those xml files are used during the installation process. The data is stored inside of the database, cached in the application, and configurable via the administration section. To change these values login as an administrator navigate to languages and view the string resources.
