Why codebehinds for aspx on v1.30 ( instead of codefile ) ?

Is there any information on this?  It is quite frustrating not being able to deploy file by file.

You need to convert solution from webapp to website.
1. Replace Codebehind with Codefile in all files (aspx, ascx)
2. Delete designer.cs files

Can we start a poll on those in favor of codefile vs code behind.

I favor codefile for this type of development.

Fixes and upgrades are easier to deploy, and team working is easier with codefile.

Shoot me down in flames if you think I am completely wrong.

Maybe two versions could be made available.

Simple job of running one of those conversion tools!
