Import products from Excel and Map Category

Unfortunately, its not possible to specify a category with its parent category when importing. You can temporarily change names of duplicate categories when importing.

I've got some problems to import products as well. I'm using 3.8 version and I have discovered those problems in all two sites that we have got. I've create some products but they are unpublished just because I have to set the right prices and so on. I export those products in excel and when I upload the excel file with the correct prices and with the published set on TRUE, the site write me "Products have been imported successfully." But nothing has changed .... the prices are still 0 and all the products are unpublished.

I think that there is a small problem when you try to import products that are already in the database and they are set as "unpublished", because when I try to import new products with new sku it is working fine

Can you help me to fix it?

I couldn't replicate the problem. Can you send me the file with problem products?

I've discovered that the upload is working....more or less... I've tried 4 times to upload the file and it has create all the products for 4 times, unpublished without the sku and without the price.... strange thing....it seems to me that the sku is not anymore the key to import the products

I could replicate the problem only one way, maybe there is removed product with the same SKUs in your database, try execute this sql code:

update Product set Sku='' where Deleted=1

I've checked and I've got 1384 record with deleted=1 (old products) but no one has the sku like 'VIN%' that are the products I wanted to insert with the upload excel. But I have discovered that there are those products but the sku is null and they are replicated several time always with the sku = '' and deleted = 1
