Support for unit pricing

Most of our products are sold by the 'each' but we sell many products by size or weight. We sell cables by the foot and meter and we sell certain other products by the gram and by the pound. We also sell many items as a pair or a set.


I was surprised to see no support for units and this is going to be a problem for us going forward. I am asking if any users are also using unit pricing, and what workarounds for this has anybody come up with.
