Testing Closed Production Store

Hi,

I'm finalizing my store and I wanted to run through a series of tests to make sure things are working well and such before I open the store to the public.  However, when I mark the store as closed in the admin panel, I can't seem to browse the public view of the store even when logged in as an admin.

Am I missing something or is there no way to do this without marking the store unclosed?

In case anyone else was looking for a similar approach, I basically just had to use the "require registration" field to lock down the store from browsing and then also mark registration as requiring admin approval for the testing phase.  Once testing is done, I will then just update those settings...
