"Estimate Shipping Page" not popping up

Hi,

I'm trying to manually input shipping details for my e-commerce site however, the Estimate Shipping pop up is not showing when the box is checked.

Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

There are two settings. Which one(s) are you expecting to show:
- shopping cart page
- product details page

(Neither is actually a "pop up" ;)

(My apologies, it has been a "pop up" for quite a while ;)

When the shopping cart page shows, open the browser developer console.
Then, click on the Estimate Shipping button.  Do any errors appear in the console?

I think I've misunderstood, the shopping cart page does not appear. The page i'm referring to is:

https://xxx/Admin/Setting/Shipping

Can you send the url for the page you're referring to as I'm unable locate it in the option tab?

That's where the confusion is.  That pop up shown in the documentation is the one that would appear in the public store if you enable the setting.   (The pop up does not appear in the admin page.)

ok, that makes sense. Is there away to configure the settings so the details which are put in by customers reflect that of my choosing?

It's not clear to me what you are trying to do.
You configure shipping carriers (e.g. UPS, FedEx, etc.), methods (e.g., Ground, Priority, etc.), and rates using Shipping Provider Plugins.

Originally I wanted to use an API from Evri (Hermes subsidiary)  to calculate and send packages to customers. They currently do not have an API compatible with nopCommerce.

I was hoping that there was a way to manually enter shipping costs on the backend so customers know exactly how much they will pay for shipping during checkout.
