Importing existing shopping cart data

Hi,

I am new to this cart, I have an existing shopping cart data. Is there anyway to import existing data into nopCommerce shopping cart. Also I need some customization in code, any manual will tell me where is what?

nopCommerce has an option to import products from excel file, go to administration-> Catalog-> products->Manage Products, however there is not any developer user manual or guide for nopcommerce
