I moved my store from a subdirectory to the root directory on my GoDaddy host and changed the store URL on the global settings admin page.
Now when I try to add new product photos, I get the following error message:

Access to the path 'D:\Hosting\4977159\html\images\thumbs\0000020.jpg' is denied.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW DO I FIX THIS?? It was working fine in the /store subdirectory.

UPDATE: I fixed this--My root directory did not have "write permissions" enabled. My original subdirectory did.
