AWS Elastic Beanstalk deployment?

Hi,
I would like to run nopCommerce using AWS Elastic Beanstalk deployment for the front end and a separate EC2 instance for the data base. In theory I see no issues with this. Has anyone ever tried to do that? Any gotchas?

I also wanted to do the same. Anybody else used AWS beanstalk? Any issues with performance etc.?
