Installation fails

I have give all files full permissons (777) and still run in to this problem.

To complete this wizard you must know some information regarding your database server ("connection string"). Please contact your ISP if necessary. If you're installing on a local machine or server you might need information from your System Admin.

I have the same problem. Someone know how to add permission to modify?

...sorry for bump. But I thought I bumped instead of creating a new thread/post. Google brought me here so I guess its smarter to continue on this thread=)
