One Page Checkout not working in updrade 2.2

Having upgraded to 2.2 I have tried using the One Page Checkout but only get the headings showing up.

Checkout

    1
    Billing address
    2
    Shipping address
    3
    Shipping method
    4
    Payment method
    5
    Payment information
    6
    Confirm order

All the coding is there in the page source but won't display - help please!

Te checkout process works fine if I take the One page Checkout off so i know things are set up correctly but I would really like to use the One Page feature

Clean install sorted this out

at the admin site, under configuration -> settings -> order settings -> check the "Use one page checkout".
