Upgrading a Compact database to 2.5

Does anybody know how to apple the upgrade.sql on compact database. It is giving error when try to run the upgrade script ?
Please advice

I am running the compact database to I tried to export it to a standalone ms sql but after 48h of failed tryes I gave up, nopcommerce lack's big time in this chapter of software updates no offence, unless you are a skilled programmer you will run into troubles with upgrades, I wonder how hard is to create an executable patch for upgrades?
