Google Pages from the UK

I have a new site about to go live...thanks to nopCommerce.

It's hosted by Arvixe, who are in the US, and I'm using the .com, but I'm based in the UK. If I do a Google search my page appears. If I restrict it to pages from the UK it disappears.

I have a feeling I'll be learning a lot more about SEO in the coming months, but is there a setting in nopCommerce that specifies the country of origin?

Generally it goes by server location, if its a UK site hosting it in the UK makes sense because of the additional transfer time etc. Also the .co.uk extension helps

you need to set country for your domain in google webmasters. as .com by default goes to usa servers.
