Adding a 2nd "Add to Cart" button (Workaround found)

Hi all,

When we add a 2nd instance of the "add to cart" button to our product page neither of the button works correctly.

If the item we are adding is not already in the cart we get this error:

The minimum quantity allowed for purchase is 1.


If the item we are adding is already in the cart the quantity does not increase.

Any ideas?

I would really like to have 2 instances of the "add to cart" button on the page vs. just relocating the default one.

The version is 2.3

You are getting this error because you are passing zero quantity or not passing a quantity.

cant get at 2.3 currently to check, how about some of your code to look at?

OK, I thought I'd come back and post the following in case someone else might find it helpful...

We found a workaround. We have two separate add to cart buttons but included a quantity box with only one of them From what we could tell it was the two quantity boxes both having the same form field name that was causing issues.
