I had 2 databases on my server. I backed up the wrong one and then ran the upgrade script for 2.4 on the correct database. No my entire site has changed. Is there anything I can do to recover at this point?
it's essential that you backup your database before you upgrade ...
if you didn't, you must consider asking your hosting company if they can roll back to a previous backup for you but they will probably charge you for the privilage so i guess you need to figure if it's worth the expense.
