We haven't decided yet what features WILL BE included. But here is a list of hightlight features that we WANT to include:
- Localize admin area
- Multilingual entities (categories, products)
- Friendly URL for many languages (www.storeurl.com/us/ or www.storeurl.com/ru/)
- Refund/Void options
- ACL
- Gifts
- Multistore "

The ACL would restrict user access to features like site's theme and email. But would allow access to a manager!

That was on our roadmap (wishlist). But we haven't planned to include these features in 1.40 release.
