What about fidelity management

It is posible to implement a fidelity management system? Let supose that we have two kind of registered memebers: regular and those who have member cards. For those I want to offer automatic discounts (in money or maybe in value points).

Yes. It's possible. We'll think about implementing this feature in the next releases. But you can do it yourself (the same way as product discounts).

I think that on the first page, along with news and so on, it must be a web part that shows something like featured products, or top products . And also it's useful a webpart that show the content of the shopping cart with little thumbnails ans link to product(s).
