We have released a new Nop Customer Reminders plugin for nopCommerce 2.8, which sends automatic emails to customers to remind them about various actions that they can take, buy an abandoned shopping cart product for example.

The Nop Customer Reminders currently has three predefined reminder rules, which when selected configure the plugin to send emails to recover:

1. Abandoned Shopping Carts

2. Abandoned Registrations

3. Unpaid Orders

New reminder rules can be added from code. We will be adding new rules ourselves with the new releases of the plugin but developers are welcomed to also do so if they need a custom reminder rule right away.

With the Nop Customer Reminders plugin store owners can add as many reminders as they need and configure various settings for each reminder. For example you can configure, which customers are eligible to receive a reminder depending on when they took the action of the reminder rule (added a product to their shopping cart at most 60 days ago but not earlier than 30 minutes ago for example).

As with all our plugins we have added the Nop Customer Reminders to the Nop Ultimate Plugin Collection. So all customers of the collection will receive it for free.
