We were just about finished customizing a store in V1.4, adding our own theme, etc. We had not gotten so far as to add products.
We want to upgrade to V1.5 since the Google Checkout bug is fixed in the new version.
I can easily find the files I modified (customized theme, module files, etc).
However, I also made some changes in the Administration panel of the store. For example:
- I edited the content of some topics.
- I changed the localization resource values.
- Global settings were changed.
When I run an upgrade, do I have to go back into Administration and make all the edits again? Or do things that were changed in Administration carry through? I understand, of course, that I will need to backup the modified files such as my theme.
