Deleted products stay in Product table

What happens if you've already had a sale on a product can you delete permantely?  Is this allowed?  You should not allow permanent delete if a sale has already ben completed.   I actually like leaving ALL products in my database from a audit point of view :)

You are correct.  It is not standard practice to delete products that have orders referencing them.  But in cases where orders haven't been placed on that product then removing all references to that product will be ok.  I will comment out the Delete All References link and when I need it I will uncomment it.
