hi,
i've never had any issues upgrading this product all through the years until going from 3.5 to 3.6.
After running the upgrade script here is an extract of some issues

The site wont start now get the custom error page saying try again later.
Are these script issues related to the site not starting properly?
I've followed all the upgrade steps to the letter.
