URL duplicates

Hi,

I'm trying to tidy the URLs as there are plenty of duplicates and I need to re-use some of them to make sense of my pages. Is there any way that I can sort this out?

Yes, go to admin >> system >> search engine friendly page names (URL slugs)
From there you can see all that are defined, and delete accordingly. Then you can re-use the URL slug for a different entity.
