web service or quickbooks?

Hello nopCommerce team.

I see in the codeplex site that you have already started working on quickbooks integration. Does this mean that you are not implementing webservices in the next release? Wouldn't it be easier to have a generic service that any software (not only quickbooks) could adapt? I was looking at the voting and by the time I'm writing this, web services api have 1 vote more then quickbooks ; )
