I have installed nopcommerce in the root of my domain and it works well.
My question is this.
Can I put nopcomerce in a sub folder so that I can still have my own site at the root and a link to nopcommerce?
If so ,what changes do I need to make. Or is it less complicated by having two domains linking my website to the one I have installed nopcommerce on.
You can create a new application directory within your existing site (so that it is the root of the nopcommerce application). This will give you www.yourwebsite.com/shop (where shop is the directory). Or create a subdomain and install your site there i.e. http://shop.yourwebsite.com
How you do it depends on whether you are using a control panel supplied by your host or you have direct access to web server (and can change IIS directly).
