installation to hosted provider with no subwebs

hi all,

i have followed the installation steps but my hosted provider has informed me that it does not support subwebs.
This means the standard installation steps dont work.

From what i can understand the compiled application needs to be copied to the either the webroot or webroot/bin.

I am not having much luck with either working. ie i get 404 when i try to access the install.aspx or the administration pages.

Any help is most appreciated.

Who is your hosting provider?

I presume they mean they do not support sub directories configured as applications i.e. http://www.yourstore.com/shop?

Either way, if you are copying the "contents" of nopCommerceStore to your root directory, have ASP.net 3.5 installed and enabled then running http://www.yourstore.com/install/install.aspx should work fine.

Please check these things.
