Email Customer that didn't finish checkout

Does NOP Commerce have the ability to email a customer that didn't checkout but had items in the shopping cart and remind them that they had items in there cart? If so where is it and how can I modify it? If not, does anyone know of an extension or would be able to give me pointers one how to create it?

it depends if they are a registered user or just a guest


if they are a registered user, and you find them by searching for customers with items in cart then, yes email (email them from the store if you like  by clicking through to their customer details page

if they have browsed your store anonomously then you have no way of knowing who they are :(
