Is there a better nopCommerce news reader out there?

I used to use a panel that reflected my Facebook feed on my home page for news.   However, I have ditched all Facebook owned services and just started using nopCommerce News for the first time.  (don't ask)  

I like it in that it is easy to update (since is uses the familiar administration pages).   But one thing I don't like about it is....it is just ugly AF (sorry developers - beauty is in the eye of the beholder).

It just a bunch of text and links laid in in a rudimentary table and just doesn't catch the eye of customers when they visit.  

Is there already a plugin out there that gives a better looking News feed?   Maybe something laid out similar to a Facebook or Twitter feed?   Or, at the very least, allows pictures for the News item on the home page?

If not - perhaps other nopCommerce users can comment below and express interest and one of you plugin developers could put one together for us.  

I would write it myself but A) I'm just way too busy running my store and B) While my C# skills are pretty sharp, my CSS skills are rudimentary at best.   I'm a database programmer and only know "just barely enough" about web site design.

Anybody have a recommendation?
