Restting production installation help

I have a  hosted, semi-production installation (WebWiz.uk). I've been testing and playing with my own set of apis that are independent of nopCommerce. I now want to restart from scratch. Do I just drop and create the sql server DB and delete the appsettings.json file? I don't want to do this multiple times ( I've been know to screw up making instant coffee).
I'll be loading a small inventory (250 items) with an excel sheet and images already in a separate images/sources directory.
Are there any other functions I should perform or files I should remove to keep myself out of trouble?

Thanks

Hi,

May be you should check how the nopCommerce import works and try that first!

Best Regards

You need to consider that if you've installed additional plugins, then they could have created Settings and their own DB tables.

I thank you for all the suggestions.  Removing the appsettings.json file and starting with as new sql db did the trick. My load worked perfectly. I'm now dealing with Kettle integration (in a separate post).

Although this worked, the seems to be a large time delay between when a request a synchronization and the products appear on the Configure - PayPal Zettle  plugin page ... 24 hours.
Is there a way to shortcut that timeframe?

What do you mean here?
How many products do you have in the store?

for this test I have 25 products. They all appear in my nop store properly

Actually, such a number of products should be synchronized instantly without delay.

I understand. Are there any other settings that might affect this? When I reset nop I also deleted my old zettle key and created a new one, which was accepted by nop.
In my original product load, the synchronization worked properly.
I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks'
