Your example is one way of solving. This will work if our alternative domain name is hosted somewhere. then you can put this html page in the web-server even thought its not recommended in SEO prospective.
There is another alternative elegant solution is to do the domain forward using DNS Setting. But our DNS registrar provides very basic services which does not have this feature.
So both cases wont help our situation.
Never-mind, can fix up with the code, since there is already a HOST detection function to detect stores in multi-store environment. So i can extent that to put a SEO safe 302 redirection.
